A man was seriously injured after jumping into a tiger enclosure at a UK wildlife park, police say.

Yorkshire Wildlife Park has confirmed that a “serious incident has occurred” at the tiger enclosure on Saturday afternoon.

Despite the efforts of medical personnel, the man was pronounced dead at the scene, and his family have since been informed, South Yorkshire Police (SYP) have said.

Christa Pike, the woman whose execution by lethal injection was botched last month in Tennessee, has been released from the hospital and is now back in prison, according to her lawyers.

Christa Pike is out of the hospital and receiving medical care in prison following a failed execution attempt.

Pike survived two doses of pentobarbital as the state attempted to execute her on Sept. 30 for the 1995 beating and stabbing death of classmate Colleen Slemmer.
